Hornady .300 savage unprimed brass?

If you have one and need brass then it's worth the money. Not the most common stuff anymore so unless you want to take your chances surfing the gun shows.

I bought Gevelot .300 Savage cases from Andrew at Higginson Powders recently for $33/100 - I think they might have more remaining in stock. This price certainly beats paying $120/100 for Hornady

They are N.O.S. - some had a slight bit of tarnish but no corrosion. Less than hour in the tumbler made them just like new...

I just wanted to know if it was worth the price as opposed to winchester which is readily available for $35-40

Probably better to stick with Winchester, especially if its older stock. Are you shooting a lever or bolt action? Reason for asking is I use 308 Lapua Palma (small primer pocket) brass to form 300 Savage cases to shoot in a heavy barreled custom bolt gun. Lapua brass lasts forever, sells for $90/100.

Only source I can find in Canada lists these at $59.99 for a box of 50. Worth the money?thanks

You might find this hard to believe but I used to run 308 win brass through my 300 savage dies and then cut the neck down. This worked awesome and the brass lasted forever. I fired these through my REM 7600 pump with no issues.

I tried that with my savage 99 and had extraction problems, but like with everything in this world YMMV.
