Hornady 9.3 286gr performance

Hey. Anyone have info on the 250 Accubond flying out if the x62? That to me seems like a good way to give the classic a little more range

I have some loaded up, but no game taken as yet, just holes in paper. Very accurate, velocity a little over 2600 fps... not a max. load but I'm content with that. I don't see the point of buying a 9.3 then trying to turn it into a .375.

I shot a small black bear on a quartering away shot with one. He completely somersaulted and lay still. I never recovered the bullet. Heart was like a donut.

bullets can indeed do strange things

I shot a moose in the neck, broadside, at 50 yds with a 338WinMag, 225gr failsafes.

bullet entered the neck just forward of the shoulder, turned and followed the backbone into the chest/stomach.

never found the bullet, but the neck was broken, and it tore off all the ribs along the "on side" for about 18", then angled down... it appears as the lungs were damaged along the top, and the stomachs had damage along the tops also. Heart, large arteries etc undamaged.

I never thought a moose neck would stop a 338WM at 50 yards broadside... ever
