Hello folks... I am dangerously low on 9.3 bullets and I am on a search for Hornady 286 SP-RP bullets... gotta feed my No.1 9.3X74R's... have any of you spotted these on the shelves of your suppliers? PM if you care to share the wealth... thanks.

A fellow nutter bought a Mauser 9.3X62 and then cleaned out our local supplier of all his 9.3 bullets... good for him... bad for the rest of us...

I bought a box of these a while back at the shop in question, to see if my husky liked them, and ran into this when I went back to get more.
Found a few boxes at Epps a few weeks back, I think they still have a box or two.

Have any of you considered the Matrix 9.3 Bonded Core? I have used them for more than four years. Have used 270, 286, 300, and 320 gr in several 9.3 rifles. They are all very accurate, and hold together like crazy.

Made right here in Canada by a great guy who is a member here, marshman, and actually ships bullets when you order them.

The Woodleigh 250 RN is the best suited to my liking for the M/649's shrot magazine. No need to seat too deep to meet the less than 3.260" the magazine requests.

My Ruger #1's are long in the throat... so no magazine concerns, also no action strength worries, so I tend to seat them out long over a heavy charge... BwanaDave took care of me, fine fella that he is...

Had a Hornady 286gr blow to pieces on a cow moose shoulder blade at 190 yards from a 9.3x62.I use Partitions now for anything larger than deer.Harold

The Speer 270 gr 9.3's were the most common bullet available for years, I still have half a dozen boxes tucked away. They worked well in every rifle I had that used them (9.3x57, x62, and x74R). Cheap, accurate and they did the job on every game animal I tried them on. - dan

X2 I used the 270g spear on my moose. I shot him head on through the chest at 40 yards, found the bullet in the hind perfect mushroom, they work great out of my 57 at +-2200fps.
Cost me $22 for 50 cheapest round ive reloaded.
