What do you guys think of this stuff. Ive seen it going for as much Lapua brass... Crazy. The stuff Ive used in the past was never consistent, lots of tight primer pockets mixed with loose ones..Now I'm stuck buying it for my .204 cause nobody else stocks anything but this stuff. Did I just get a few bad lots or it poor quality with a high sticker price?? Only other brass I can find for my .204 is Nosler and its $70 for 50 :runaway:

Cheers!!

I use lots of it. None of those problems you had with the stuff I have. I have 223rem, 7mm-08, and 30-06. Lasts a good while and no prep work to get it ready to load unlike the winchester stuff I was buying.

it's pretty much all i used for my 500mag. I've lost count but i know i'm over 8 reloads on the first pack of 100 i bought.

I tried some in 270 Win making it into 25-06 and it varied by more than 30 grns from lightest to heaviest in 100 rounds. I bought 100 rounds of W-W 270 and scrapped the Horn brass............Garbage IMHO.

I bought some for a 375 Ruger. Maybe I had a bad batch but the primer pockets on some0about (25%) were to shallow.

Some of it is excellent (all the 375 Ruger brass I have) and some of it is "normal" as in nothing special, an some of it is crap. I wonder if Hornady doesn't have some sort of good brass supply issue, although they seem to get good copper and lead...

S+B and Win swap out brass for some military loads.Sometimes European boxer primed cases can have varying primer pockets.Harold
