Hornady bullet feeder issue

I'm trying to setp my Hornady bullet feeder and am having a little issue. I'm using the medium drop funnel and medium tube for 40 S&W. I have the end of the tube inserted into the bottom end of the drop funnel as the manaul says. With the tube in the funnel, the bullet gets stuck and doesn't make it into the tube. I'm sure I've got the right tube/funnel as the other end of the tube fits nicely into the feeder die. Anyone else have this issue???

I do have a bullet feeder also. Had the same problem, the hole is to small so use a Dremel to get that funnel bigger and it it work. Whit the small one it wasn't a problem.
 
Thanks - that's basically what Hornady said. Sounded like they know about it and don't bother fixing it. Not impressed with my first experience with Hornady equipment. (Still like their projectiles, but this is one of those little quality things that really piss me off).
 
Also it's only supposed to be used with FMJ bullets, I had to get a new collet for mine after about 300 rds (9mm) to get it to work. Not the best thing they have invented.

I'm using (well, trying to use) Berry 18 gr JHP and some 165 gr JFN. Guess I'll be spending some quality time with my dremelon the weekend.
