Hornady Concentricity Tool

ok so no one seems to know where I can get one from so my next question is has anyone accually used one of these? If so are they worth the money or is there another brand that I should be looking at?

If I am correct the sinclair unit only checks for runout while the hornady unit offers a means to correct it .

I'm not familiar with the Sinclair but from what I've heard I believe you're correct, and with that, I went with the Hornady product.

Works well but in most cases I think the biggest benefit form using it is for the peace of mind of knowing you've eliminated or minimized another possible variable and that consistency helps to improve the end result. A couple thou of excentricity doesn't really seem to have all that much of an ill effect on accuracy.

There you go, henry has a couple, plus hes a great guy to deal with.
I have one I picked up on a trip down south, I dont use it as much as I thought I would. Sometimes it is nice simply for the ability to correct runout. It is a good unit, I feel.

I have the Sinclair unit, and use it for my serious target ammo, particularly the long range stuff.

However, for hunting ammo, it languishes on the shelf and collects dust.

If you have a hunting load that shoots sub-moa without the runout checks, you are good to go.

JMHO, Eagleye.
