Has anyone sent away for there 500 free bullets. For 2015 ? I recieved today from hornady that my order is cancelled. Don't bother getting the USA money order and paying the exchange that in return will cost you 40$ aprox. I have now switched to RCBS . I still own my progressive hornady loader. But yah once burnt. Never again. Purchased the "223" RCBS dies. Just upsets me that I own hornady now. Need to get the shell plate for every caliber. But I guess I could always buy a Dillion. Just disgusts me.

Got mine last week, shipped from Canadian distributor, just paid with us MO from bank, Postal is a rip off

500 45acp for $20

i got 5 shell plates, for all mmy pistol and rifle.

I sent away for mine and included shipping for 500 + 2x100 bullets for a press and two sets of dies. I got confirmation that they recieved the order after about 3 weeks (not too bad I thought). They said that they have to ship through their Canadian distributor so they might take the full 12-14 weeks. Two weeks later I got confirmations that they shipped from their US warehouse to Edmonton. From there they will ship direct to me. I would exect that from that point it would be 2-3 weeks before I see them.

No, you get a selection you can choose from. I have to send my own order soon (press and one set of dies and balance, should be 700 free bullets I think?)

I actually only sent in for the press. Wasn't sure if they would accept one money order for all purchases. But seems they do. Still I am happy to know the 500 .277cal are on there way.

I sure enjoy shoots my reloads. There just so much more better. Lol the cost doesn't seem feasible but maybe after some time. I sure enjoy reloading. The first day I shot my 45 auto reloads I had such a smile. I do have a little issue with my press. I constantly have to forward feed the rotator by hand. It's like it doesn't move to the next position perfectly. I have reloaded just over a 1000 rounds. So I figure it should be broke in. I guess I can always ask hornady if this is normal.

Tiger, in the press manual (assuming we're talking about the same model, the Lock'n'load AP?) there was a page on the adjustment of the pawls that move the shell plate. Yours might need a bit of tweaking? Mine indexes perfectly at every handle stroke.

Mine needed adjustments on the paws at the bottom to get the stokes correctly so it can actually be used as an progressive since if you have a bit foward or bit backward movement you'll end up not being able to seat the primers

It took over 16 weeks to get my 500x bullets

Thank you I will look at this , good I asked. It's almost as embarrassing as when I ordered a decamping pin for my 45 auto. To find two spares in the die case. Good grief

yup... I didn't even bother with money orders. I sent a personal cheque for the amount plus the added shipping to canada. I got an email a few weeks ago saying it had been processed and would be shipping in a bit.
I got the 45 as well as it seemed the best value.
I have done this a few times over the years whenever I have bought new dies.

That is adjustable. Had the same issue. Called Hornady tech support. Fixed in less than 30seconds phone call took less than 5min.

thanks , i did go through the instructions , got it almost perfect . runs pretty smooth now , the adjustments are on the bottomend of the press and yes easy to adjust.

Go red!!!! 400k reloads, and still going

they offered me a free press if I sent my other one to them to see the wear on them.

I've had good luck with 27grains of CFE223. I also use it for my 308 and an 8mm Mauser. The Hornady reloading manual has load data for almost any projectile with cfe223 except 30-06. I've also used the Hodgon site for load data. I would have stuck with the Hornady 223 dies. They collar that they have which hold the bullets and the case necks is really nice for the progressive press.
