Hornady GMX?

I am wondering about this as well.

It is nice to see more and more alternate bullets to the TSX/TTSX. However, I wouldn’t want to jump in unless there is a significant advantage in price or performance. I spent over $500 last time migrating from Nosler Partition to Barnes TSX.

IIRC, WSS Lethbridge had a few boxes early in the fall. I didn't see any last time I was in though. What are you looking for Chuck? 270, 7mm? I will likely be down there this week and can let you know if I see any.

ETA, geeze DannyBoy, prices sure are high in TO! :)

I loaded some in .30-06 SPLD for moose season last September, unfortunately didn't get a chance to try them on game.

With only very little experimentation so far, I'd say for me they've been less accurate than the Barnes TSX (the old Hornady Spire Points are more accurate in the same .30-06). They also seem a little softer, they left a lot more deposits in the barrel than the TSX.

I don't remember where I got them from, but it may have been at Dante's in Montreal, or from arcinter in St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, QC.

WSS sports in Calgary is where i get mine . Iload the 130 gr gmx for my girlfriends .270 wsm and have seen the 139 .284 there on the shelves as well.
