I've been using 165 gr Hornady Interbonds with my 300WSM on Whitetails for the last couple of years and having nothing but good performance from this reasonably priced bullet.

This bullet was recovered from a good sized buck that I shot through the neck and into the chest from the front. He dropped instantly, and the bullet was found near a rear rib. The bullet went into his neck, then travelled along the top of his rib cage, just nicking a tenderloin, before coming to rest just beneath his hide.

I weighed the recovered bullet and it weighs 135 grains out of the original 165. The bullet should have been going around 3000 fps muzzle velocity and struck the deer at approx 100 yards. Thought you might be interested in seeing the mushroomed bullet, compared to the original. The bonding to the jacket really held it together well. I get pretty good accuracy with this bullet as well.

Looks to me like excellant performace at least in this application. I have used this bullet on my one and only carabou hunt with my 270 win.130 gr with the same excellant result.

I've always had good luck with the interbond accuracy wise, and have taken one bull moose with the 165gr. Will be running it in my .300wsm shortly.
