Hornady Interbond - discontinued for 2023

We just received notice that Hornady has discontinued the entire Interbond lineup for 2023

There's a chance we see another bonded core bullet replace this in 2024, using the heat shield tip technology used in the ELD and Cx bullets

I'm guessing the Interbond never sold very well; Accubond probably took most of that market.

While we're on the subject, why is it that all the bonded bullets have been thick, impact-extruded jackets instead of thinner drawn jackets? I think a bonded core in a (relatively) thick .040" drawn jacket with a plastic tip would work very well. Not as tough as an Accubond/Interbond, but still hold together better than an ELD-X or SST.

I had good results with interbonds and they used to be 1/2 the price of accubonds.

I bought a box of Interbonds on clearance. Put one through a black bear, left a blood trail a blind man could follow. I thought there were a good bullet but you really didn't hear people talking about them. A lot of love for the interLOCK, but when it came to bonded bullets everyone seems to talk about Nosler or Swift.
