Hi all,
I just purchased a box of Hornady Interbonds in 7mm 139 GR with intention to use them in my 7mm-08 Savage. I heard that they differ in weight, so I weighted all of them. This is what I found out by measuring 100 bullets:
138.5 GR – 14 bullets
139 GR – 48 bullets
139.5 GR – 28 bullets
140 GR – 10 bullets
All of them were measured with RCBS 5-0-5 scale with 0.25 GR rounded to closest weight. Discrepancy was around 2 GR top to bottom.
My questions to all of you are:
Is this common with Interbonds?
Is accuracy influenced by bullet weight?
Does Hornady know about this?
Thanks
