Hey Guys, Well it looks as if I might be getting the Hornady LnL AP press for Christmas. (Not supposed to know tho!! LOL)

I've pretty well decided on the Hornady LnL for the ease of caliber change, as I'll be running 9mm, .40 and 45 acp with rifle calibers down the road...

Before getting it tho I have questions for someone in the GTA area with one. Hope it's not a strange request but I would like to see how people have theirs setup and maybe a quick lesson on running the press.

So I'll supply the coffee and snacks if someone would give me a quick lesson on setup and running of the LnL AP press.

Maybe we need to setup a clinic like Hungry does for the M14's?!?!?!

Anyway thanks for the help!!

I am a little ways from you but am willing to show you how I do my reloading with my L&L ap, if you are in my area or vice versa... pm me if ya want...

I can help you over the phone also if you want, the press comes with a dvd for detailed set up instructions, the paper instructions are crap! There are some good videos on u-tube also....

Here is a photo of my set-up...

Its an exellent choice I have the same setup as jojo and they are great... I cranked out about 800 rounds an hour. It takes longer to load the primer tube then to make 100 rounds I am looking at getting the dillion auto tube loaders I think they might work with this too.

JOJO,
Thanks for the offer! I'll pm you after Christmas and see if we can setup a meet. Much appreciated!!

I'm looking at possibly getting the case feeder along with the press or just getting the basic press and adding on after I learn just what the hell I'm doing!! :D

The LnL AP seems to be the one to go with from all reports...

hmm, that setup looks familiar :D

anyways, you'll have lotsa fun setting up the timing of the casefeeder, mine still isn't quite right

Hornady has been making excellent reloading products but as of late not been shipping our fair share to Canada. I don't know if it's just out west but there is little Hornady tools on the shelves. We are hoping this will improve in 2010 as I am still waiting for 75% of my tool order from Feb 2009 (I'm a direct dealer). Phil.

Its not only you, and its not only out west... for about the past two years its been crazy... wait times on stuff has been 6-12 months. Some stuff I have on order is still not been shipped and its 2 years later. I dont want to reorder anything becase then luck would have it you would get double.

and forget personal stuff I bought one of these presses and its been now 6 months for the free bullets... I contacted my hornady rep and they said the order had been submitted to the canadian distributor but they where out of stock and would not tell me who they are because the distributor complained about getting calls about people wondering when they are going to get there free stuff.

I just laugh too about being out of stock... I requested .308 150 Grain SP one of the most common hunting bullets around... they where able to ship me my .308 order for my business in less 1/3 time but still waiting on my free stuff... guess you cant complain to much when its free. :D

We have set up a meeting with Hornady at the Shot Show and they have assured us they are aware of the problem for International shipments and will be resolving the problem...time will tell. Phil.

Sounds like a plan, I will be going to T.O. sometime soon, hopefully on a powder, primer and projectile run, I like to hit the local shops every few months or so via Hamilton and hit Aim, Hummason and check out what Al Simmons has....

Onagoth what is the problem your still having with your case feeder... I finally got mine going for 4 different calibers. Maybe I might be able to pin point what the problem is.
