OK so I think I broke my press.

Here's what happened. I had a bullet go in the seater 'somewhat' crooked. When it happend I had to get it out do I reefed down on the lever (not hard, it's not like I was putting all of my weight on it or anything severe). Nothing actually broke when I did this.

Well since then. It hasn't been indexing all the way on the up stroke and the down stroke. it's about 1/8" short of fully rotating.

Did I break it or just put it out of adjustment?

you likely just threw it out of adjustment! The press should have been at full index when you started to seat your last bullet! With no shells in the press slowly rotate the shell plate by hand . Does it "click" into position with not a pile of resistance to rotating? ( Checking to see if the shell plate has been warped or drive key has dammage) If it turns and clicks into the index detents ok the pawls on the bottom of the ram just need a little "tweaking" you should go to the Hornady website as I think there are a couple of short video's dealing with this . You do not need to move anything very mutch to create a difference, A little does a lot!

Update

OK so I searched a bit on the internet and found out that the indexing Pawls are adjustable. Just had to back off the adjustment screw an 1/8th of a turn and it's all good. Never realized that the pawls are adjustable since they're spring loaded. Didn't realize that's what blazer meant by "tweaking".
