Hi all. I'm researching buying one of these. Can anyone who has one give any feedback/pros/cons on the unit??? Also how is it to get parts for? I've heard it can be difficult.

Thanks in advance!! :D

read the sticky thread in this forum about dillon vs hornady vs lee progressive comparison ....its a good write up.... and hornady has a wicked warrenty

with that said, i just ordered myself a lnl ap

I purchased one recently and love it. Would buy again. I have also had to deal with Hornady for a small warranty issue. Easy to deal with, they just overnighted me the part I needed free of charge, no questions asked.

If it feels stiff to press, stop and figure out why. The indexing hub can snap the little knob that causes it to index. The problem was not enough lube on the shells.

It works fine, but dillon owners won't normally say so. I've made thousands of rounds on mine since figuring out that glitch and haven't had a problem since.

I've loaded thousands and thousands of rounds on mine and am pretty happy with it. Warranty issues I have had in the past were always resolved very quickly.

I'm not a huge fan of the casefeeder, but it works

I watched one in action and declined, too.

Hand feeding keeps me awake.

Very good press, using mine since 2008 and have a few buddies who bought same press and all are happy.
The only ammo I reload is 9mm, according to my numbers I saved $8K since I started reloading. Yes, that's $8000 dollars; compared to factory ammo.

I also had a die come apart on me and they sent me new die for free, thou dies are not lifetime, only 1 year warranty. Said that, the box came in empty and PO ack'ed it, Hornady sent me another one and it made it second time.

Dies and shell plates are normally not easy to get in Canada, but the press/whole deal is worth it.

Been loading 38 Super, 45 ACP and .223 on mine for years. My single warranty issue (which turned out to be my error) was nonetheless handled instantly by Hornady (part in mail same day). I now own 2 x perfectly good .223 case feeder disks neither one of which Hornady wants back. These things (LNL) apparently beat the D650 for easy caliber conversion which was an obvious consideration for me, besides price :). If they're still giving away free bullets, be patient. You will eventually get them but be prepared to wait. Warranty claims and customer service at Hornady take a huge precedence over freebie deliveries.

Thanks for all the replies! Keep em coming!!

Yeah my buddy and i currently have two lee single stages, one with an auto indexer. Basically the progressive we choose will be strictly for handgun ammo, mostly 9mm, and we can leave the two lee single stages set up for rifle. We are looking forward to being able to bang out lots of 9mm in a shorter time, and we're leaning towards the Hornady LnL AP over the Dillon650 right now, a lot to do with $$ too.....

I have one with both the case and bullet feeders.
I am extremely happy with mine.
I purchased a used Hornady single stage and found that I can swap the dies between the 2 presses without needing to make any adjustments.

As for someone mentioning that the price of the Hornady is much cheaper than a Dillon 650 it is not the case if you purchase both presses with a case feeder.
Dillon charges a lot less than Hornady for their case feeder although they charge twice as much per rifle or pistol plate.

Yeah that is one thing i noticed when pricing out was the Hornady case feeder was like $130 more or so. Not sure i'll end up getting a case feeder down the road, but you're definitely right.

For me it's mainly initial cost of the press is lower and dies/shellplates are almost half the cost of Dillons
