Since I just got into reloading a few months ago, and bought a Hornady LNL to supplement my single stage press I have some questions.
OAL. It seems if I set it seating depth just using just the one station, I get a different depth when all stations are full. This can be up to .003 or so. Once all stations are full its within .001 or so. Its not a big problem and I can run them though the seating die again if I choose to.
Unique powder. I am getting a variance of about a tenth of a grain or so. Acceptable? I weighed every 4th charge or so for the first 40 rounds then just let them go through.
And since this is so much faster, I find I have nothing left to do on this cold winter day!

The powder issue is fine. 0.1 grain tolerance is pretty good for a powder measure. For the rest, search lnl on this forum for the rest of the info your looking for

Yes since it's a progressive all stations being full helps keep the shellplate level.

I'll be honest I don't use mine that much.
I'll make 5,000 9mm one weekend, 3,000 .45ACP another weekend, and 3,000 .223 another weekend.
It then sits idle for several months.

Thanks for the link. Lots of tips in those vids.
I am going to pull out the baffle since I am loading Unique. The oal problem is due to my bullets taper point and the Lee .44 die. If the taper varies then my oal will as well. Maybe better quality bullets is the way to go as I never had this trouble with Hornady Xtp.
