Is anyone using a Hornady LNL Progressive press? I have an old Pro-Jector that started life as a Pro-7, was sent back to Hornady for the upgrade and has caused me some problems from new.
Hornady has offered me a credit (don't know the amount) on a new LNL. I had problems with the timing on this machine,
but it seems to be OK now. other issues are mostly with the "case kicker" system and to a lesser extent, the priming system.
I don't know if I want to get back into more of the same or change to another brand. What is everyone else using? Dillon, Lee, RCBS, Lyman, ect. Any advice is gratefully accepted.

My lnl works perfect, I would buy it again if I had to start over. Now, I haven't owned it very long so take that for what it's worth.
 
My LNL is also working great, but I did have troubles in the beginning as well.

The kicker system has never given my big gripe, although I do get the rare case that gets stuck there. The priming system is sensitive to jams when you crunch in primers. And brass shards that get in there will jam the whole thing.

There are quite a few guys on here with lots of experience with the LNL, just post what your problems are and we can get them sorted out.
 
I bought mine at the height of the last panic, and it showed. It has a number of issues, some big some small. Some I dealt with, some I couldn't. It has been back to Hornady once, where they addressed all the things I told them about, some of their fixes worked, some didn't. In the process they replaced some of the parts I had de-bugged, so I had to do them over again once I got it back. I have since identified a couple more issues.

If I had to do it over again, I would have looked closer at a Dillon. I still have never used one.
 
I had several issues including cases getting stuck when they were getting kicked out.
I spoke with Hornady and they sent me a new sub plate. Problem Solved.
I had a few priming issues because somebody using my press tried to force priming a case when the slide wasn't fully foreward so they sent me a new primer punch and primer slide. Problem solved.
I had a gear in the bullet feeder strip because the same somebody tried to dump 500 230gr bullets into the hopper at once. They sent me a new gear. Problem Solved.

I haven't had any issues with Hornady customer service.
I have made over 20,000 rounds of ammunition on this press and have processed more than 40,000 pieces of brass on it so far.
I'm contemplating purchasing another one.
 
this press is easy to setup and use. initially i could not get it to index and on close inspection realized that one of the pawls was damaged. hornady sent me a replacement and now it indexes perfect. powder measure is excellent. i have no complaints - excellent product and customer service.
