Anybody else have issues with the data published in that book ?

I purchase their bullets in a few cals I load for so I figured i should have the book but I keep having to use data from my other book so that I can achieve normal velocities ?

Example 7 MM STW

139 gr. Bullets

RL-22.....they max out at 74 grs. That gets me a whopping 3160 fps... I should be able to push around 3400.

I check data from a few other books and the max in for 7mm STW in a 140 gr. bullet is 82 gr.

8 gr. is quite a bit . I have no idea how they achieved the velocities that printed.

My range session was a little disapointing since I was shooting 139's only slightly faster than 160's.

This is the second time ive had to use other data for their bullets, the last time it was for 338 wm to achieve regular published speeds (verified with other sources).

rant off, no big deal really. just part of the game. I just feel that manual is kind of useless and needs to be fed into a shredder...:D

The Nosler 6th edition lists their 140gr bullets with a max charge of 75.0gr of RL22 @3332fps from a 26" tube. I have used Hornady data from the 7th ed. in .270, 30/06, 300winmag, and 303british and found it to be in line with data from other sources.
