Hornady Lock and Load issue?? Help

Just got my LnL set up, everything was working fine the all of sudden my press would not index properly. At the top of the up stroke I would have to manually advance very slightly to lock in shell plate in place, same thing on the down stroke to prime. Its a slight advance and once locked in everything lines up fine. Anybody else have this issue? Kinda kicking myself in the butt I didn't go with Dillion, am already having issues.

same problem. a call to hornady will help, they can guide you through it

Did you adjust the cams on the bottom of the press? A slight tweak may fix it for you.

You get yours running smooth now?

I believe the pawls on the bottom need minor tweeking but Im gonna call to confirm.

Bingo! it is in the manual how to adjust them.

Dont kick yourself, I've seen issues with the LNL and issues with the dillions... Both great machines, a little tweaking will have you loving your LNL

Gotter tweeked this morning and its running like a champ. Surprising how a minor adjustment gets things all in line, Hornady customer service was top notch as is CGN

So I guess next time you have a problem you won't run onto CGN in the middle of the night acting like chicken little thinking that the sky is falling?
Glad you got it all worked out.
I love my LNL AP progressive.

BTW pawl adjustment is covered in the manual.

Ha ha..you bet, Im on graveyard right now,,not best time to be thinking about reloading. Guess I should read a manual before I set the thing up..whoops!!
