Hornady Match brass?

Suspect it is possible that the 223 or 308 brass could be crimped, seems unlikely any others would be, especially stuff loke the PRC's.. Or maybe he's using European primers and has some "tighter" pockets, lots of folk say the Ginex are harder to seat than normal. QC and Hornady are also something of an oxymoron at times too.
He’s using CCI primers.

I've run into this. My buddy shot some factory hornady match 308 and gave me the brass to reload. "hornady match" head stamp. Went to push a br2 into the first one but no dice. A quick clean up with a pocket reamer and they were good to go.

Some Hornady Match brass does indeed have crimped primers. Hornady match ammo seems to be the most available match ammo down in the West Indies. Some lots have crimped primers, some don't. Also differs from year to year.
