Hornady New Dimension Dies

I've been using these babies for awhile now and the bloody seating stems leave rings around my AccuBonds and Ballistic Tips all the time...obviously they were made with round nose bullets in mind. WELL..off to the Hornady web site to find that they now make custom loading stems for V-max bullets....well hot dahm I was on that phone and ordered those puppies right away in .224, .243/6mm, .277 and .308. Got the new 300 MAG neck sizing die for my 300 RUM too. Now I wait for weeks for the gear to arrive from the States

Yep I had the same problem with Redding dies with the BT's first came out...actually would smash the points....

Any chance they were compressed loads? Might be the situation here with these dies as I experienced basically the same thing. Once I adjusted the chareg weight slightly the "ring" went away. Adjusting bullet seating may eliminate the problem as well.
