Hornady now makes 22lr?

I just picked up a box of Hornady 40gr LRN 1070fps Varmit Express 22LR from my local Walmart!
My store just got back ito ammo and now i find something from Hornady that does not even show on their web site.

If you google it a few pics come up.
1070 is slow, but i got it just becuse i have never seen it befor.
I wont be switching from CCI just yet...

CCI Standard Velocity is also 1070 ... something to look into

Then it never has to cross the sound barrier.

CCI actually manufactures a lot of the rimfire ammo for other companies.

About the same velocity as CCI Std. Vel. or some of the Eley stuff. One of my rifles just loves the slow CCI, the other, the Eley green box; I will try Hornady when I find some.

Local Walmart here in Mount Pearl is now stocking higher end ammo. Mini Mags , Hornaday, they eve have 6.5 Creedmor in Hornaday. Few weeks back they blew out their 525 boxes of golden bullets. I got 6 boxes at $24 a piece. And a box of 15 slugs for $7.
