Im looking for a progressive press capable of loading center fire rifle, and pistol cal's. Is the hornady auto progresive a decent press? How does it compare with say a 550, or 650? What kind of rph could one expect?

I've had two. They are great presses. They are very strongly built. Without a casefeeder, it's like a 550 only better. It auto indexes and has five stations.

The old Pro-Jector model was week in it's priming system, and it's automatic powder system. Both seem to have been resolved with the new L'n'L.

With spare primer tubes loaded, I'd expect to load 400-600 pistol rounds an hour.
