Hello guys I am looking for some reloading Data for the .223 caliber, I am using Varget powder and Hornady 60GR Hollow Point bullets with CCI BR-4 primers.

Thanks.

The closest thing I could find in my Hodgdon 2011 annual reloading manual for 223 Remington was 60 gr Hornady V-max COL 2.250"

Varget 25 gr 2924 fps 40,400 CUP up to 27.0 (compressed charge) 3159 fps 51,900 CUP

Hope this helps.

60gr HP/VARGET/CCI BR-4

2700fps 21.7gr
2800fps 22.7gr
2900fps 23.8gr
3000fps 24.9gr MAX load
B.C 0.271
C.O.A.L 2.200

this is wrong i think even the NATO rounds cant do that

This is what my Hornady 8th edition says as well. I'm not sure why the Hodgdon numbers would be so different, but they are the manufacturer of Varget (actually, I think Thales makes it for them).

this is what Hodgdon website has
60 GR. HDY V-MAX Hodgdon Varget .224" 2.250" 25.0 2924 40,400 CUP 27.0C 3159 51,900 CUP

^^ Roger, that's what I copied out of my magazine version. Question is why does the Hodgdon manual start at Hornady's max load?
