Hornady Shell Plate/Holder Question

Thanks much!! That explains it and makes it quite clear!

Wasn't ordering from Hornady - was looking at midwayusa.com to order the press, Dies, and bullet feeder etc... Just not sure on Shipping (USPS) to Canada etc... also was looking at grafs.com but they look to be a little more complicated with the shipping and I not seen many posts from people with their experiences etc...

HOWEVER both of those vendors are out of stock on the Micrometer LOL - but I am not yet ready so no big deal - if not I can always get the micrometer direct from Hornady.

I just ordered in a micrometer for a fellow

Midway won't ship to Canada so unless you have a buddy in the US its a no-go. Both Grafs and MidSouth Shooter supply are good and will ship to Canada (Midsouth will need you to fill out a form & fax it to them but that's no biggie). Be prepared to order from more than one place though. BTW, my micrometer came from Sinclair's - everyone else was OOS. Good luck!

I just looked on MidSouth's website and saw the fax form you are talking about but it also says on the page that the export license will cost an extra $275.00. Did I read that correctly?

Its not an export licence, its an export release form. Midsouth sends it to you after you place an order, you fill it out & fax or email back to them. The form ia s a one-paragraph letter states that 'by signing below I accept and will follow all laws local, state, etc. pertaining to exporting goods outside the US blah-blah' and 'I accept responsibility for all said laws blah blah'. - basically you promise not to export what's not permitted, and if you do - its your fault & not theirs. The form is free.

Adrian, a Christmas list for you:

1) Case feeder w small and large pistol plates.
2) Primer filler tubes (extra) for both large and small primers.
3) set of spare retaining springs for your shell plates. (cheap but essential)

You'll immediately need a small can of aerosol electrical contact cleaner from Home Hardware or someplace and some dry graphite lube would be good too. This is to prep your powder drop assembly and rotors which come with protective goo on em.
