Another yes vote here for the SSTs. I had loaded some 165 grain bullets for .308 Win, very accurate in my BLR and buddy used it to shoot a decent whitetail buck three seasons ago. One shot, one kill, no significant meat damage.
Having said that, my normal hunting load for my BLR is 180 grain Nosler Partitions, which are minute of deer accurate and really hammer the deer.
