Hornady SST experiences

All I found were very fine fragments , needless to say I wont be useing SST's on deer sized game again . Too bad I have almost 2 boxes of 150's & a box of 130's .

They are very accurate though , The Coyote's are gonna hate em !

Just to add to the conversation...

My friend shot a mule deer this weekend with a Ballistic Tip and it fragmented like a hand grenade. Did the job alright. The buck took a couple steps and then dropped. Just the copper boat tail was left against the skin on the far side. An entrance hole like a fist he said.

He was shooting a 7mm Mag. Not sure of the speed, but 140gr bullets and a 200 yard shot.

He's looking for something else now.
