Hornady vs. Lapua

I have no experience with Hornady brass, but I have used Laua brass with great success. The casings (Lapua) seem to be a litter thicker overall (I was using Winchester brass) and annealed around the neck. On the range, I did notice ever so slightly, better groups. All of this is just my own observations.

Treated properly, brass can last 40 loads or more. That makes it the cheapest of the reloading components. Lapua brass is very uniform and needs little to no case preparation before you are good to go. Neck thickness and runout are very well controlled.
I have used Lapua before, I am wondering about the 338 lapua brass specifically, being a high intensity cartridge, will the Hornady be as strong as Lapua?

Experience with both. You're going to experience a stuck casing with Hornady brass long before Lapua if it happened at all. The Hornady brass is lighter/thinner and is ok for lower velocity loads. From a longevity standpoint Lapua is well worth the initial investment.
