Hornady Zombie max ammo.lol

Apparently 7.62x39 is steel case, rest is nickel brass.

Everyone has to have a box, zombie or not, just for the cool factor. Not sure if I'll ever shoot my box, it's not like we'll need critical defense ammo for CCW anytime soon.

Hornady even made a marketing video!! I wonder how that one got past their lawyers...

Do not use it on Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny or Mickey Mouse. They will also just bounce off.
Santa Claus = Red & White Tip
Tooth Fairy = Pink Tip
Easter Bunny = Chocolate Tip
Mickey Mouse = Cheese Tip

I'm sure Hornady is working on load development for these rounds.

awsome video, i could watch that alldayLaugh2
just he wasted so many rounds, all you need is one shot in the head. not 5 shots in the body. hes also not verry good at aiming:pLaugh2

I think it's a marketing coup on Hornady's part. I've not caught any of the recent zombie movies or TV shows, but I have bought a lot of Zombie Max purely for the novelty factor. That and the fact Hornady is my favorite ammo manufacturer; I always liked their line of Light Mag for my .30-06. I think this product will generate them legions of new customers, as it certainly sets them apart as a company with both a sense of humor and contemporary 'hipness'. To some it surely seems absurd, but I think its fine to project a sense of humor; after all wouldn't you rather that firearms owners have a sense of humor rather than none at all?

I have some in 9mm, .45 auto, .30-30, .308 and 12 Guage :D

Oh, just noticed some 7.62 x 39 and .223 as well. I guess that makes me a zombie preparedness lemming. On the other hand, that is some 7.62 x 39 that would be legal for hunting with instead of the milsurp one usually encounters; once you're sure the zombie's are gone, that is.

Z max

Love that name Z MAX, P&D had a stack of it in the store today so I grabbed a box of each, 9mm,40,45,7.62,308,30-30,223. They didn't have any of the shotshell yet. FS

I think I saw it on the "leverarms" website. Can't remember for sure though. The rounds to me just look like a hollow point 9mm. I thought h.p ammunition was illegal in Canada. Guess not

thanks, I'll check it out.

you never know when zombies will attack. better safe than end up zombie food

Hijos de Villa tequila in a 1911 bottle

I never tried it......I just bought it for the bottle. lol......you can buy the bottle, drink the vodka......and then sell the bottle for half of what you bought the vodka for. I heard it was banned in Toronto because of the bottle

and I almost forgot, Hijos de Villa tequila in a 1911 bottle. Jessica Alba pours a drink from one in the movie Machette

I've been looking for this bottle but can't find it anywhere. a must for the serious 1911 collector or gun nut. I just think the bottle is cool, I'm not much of a drinker

Just too bad the vodka is crap!

these rounds are never meant to be used but if a need arises you want to have at least few thousand in you stocks :)

Until the zombie government of that day finds out, and the undead SWAT team arrives to ensure proper storage and to seize any "beyond reasonable amount of ammo stored".

I hope they can't tell the difference between my normal hollowpoints and the ones whose tip I filled with booger green crayon.

Here's an interesting innovation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXh3EfX_CqA
