Just started reloading for a new to me #1. I am very impressed. I took some loads from my #3 and did well. Loaded up some 34,37,40,45 gr with my 680 (down to last can now). Some 3/4 in groups and most sub inch. Found S&B brass has lower capacity. Happy with these I moved to Lil Gun, with 34gr and 12.3 gr powder I shot some sub 1/2 in groups and averaged .62. This is as good as I can shoot, (the gun was not the week link.:). Then some 40 gr H over 13gr of Lil Gun.pruduced similar groups. Gophers are going to catch it now!

Curious what you are using for primers? I’ve had best results using Federal Small Pistol, Lil Gun and 40 VMax in my Browning A Bolt.

I really like my 22 Hornet on gophers. Hurts em bad!!

I found Remington 6-1/2 primers to be optimum for the 22 Hornet, but it should be, since it was developed for the 22 Hornet and similar cartridges.
