What bullet are you shooting? A harder bullet like the 80gr ttsx will let you save the fur on shots like that. I used my 257wby with 100ttsx a few years ago with good results, pin prick in and tiny exit.

Sunday was unreal in the south I was wishing I could get out but was busy with other stuff. Calling for some colder weather but I'm glad there isn't much for the white stuff left.

I was shooting a nosler 70gr bt.

It did pick up the 243 for yotes that dont wanna come in and it does work great for that.
