Hot 'n heavy .44 mag recipes?

Looking for a rifle load (for deer/bear)....anybody managed to push a 265 or better bullet to 1800FPS or better?

If you can't get what you want with near max. loads of H-110, you don't want to go there.

265 Hornadys are hitting 1700 with H110.....I just thought maybe there might be a better powder to take advantage of the longer barrel.

I think H-110 remains the best bet. A powder that doesn't quite make H-110 velocity in a short barrel is not suddenly going to pick up more steam in a long one, and powders slower than H-110 don't cut it. H110, W-296, and Lil Gun consistently give the best velocity in the .44, and while H-110 is most often out front, the difference between them is of little consequence.

+2 it is the max of the max usually. Plus my guns have all been very accurate with H110

I'm on board with everyone else, H110 works best for me, with H4227 a strong second.
