Rolled some rounds this afternoon, I hope to get to the range tomorrow after work to try 'em out! They are Barnes TTSX in 100gr (left) and TSX in 120gr (right) for my .260 Rem.
Excellent! I love Varget!
Nice, but I think the TTSX look a lot ###ier...![]()
Nice, couple questions...
Because of the bullet type these are for hunting? Why no crimp? And does the extended COAL pay dividends for your rifle?

1. I would say yes.
2. Dont need a crimp unless you use in a semi auto and even then lots of guys dont crimp.
3. Yes in most rifles loading just off the lands works very well.
Sorry the question was more for the OP. Reason I ask is cartridges loaded for hunting I crimp as the cartridge rocks about in a magazine all day.
Sorry the question was more for the OP. Reason I ask is cartridges loaded for hunting I crimp as the cartridge rocks about in a magazine all day. However, some guns fire weird bullets for best accuracy loads so this may be for target shooting as the .260 is one heck of an accuracy gun I just wanted to make sure. I am aware seating off lands is beneficial, but I wanted the OPs experience with seating experiments and how it's been effecting his loads. I started shooting a 6.5 Creedmoor and seating to 2.820 seems to be my magic spot. Closer introduced inaccuracy. OP?
Do you have any experience with the 5-0-5?
That 10-0-10 looks to be slick unit. Might want to consider that as an upgrade since I still double check every throw of my Chargemaster (which isn't very accurate)
