Has anyone used these before? How hot do they actually get, like can I just put them inside my regular gloves or am I going to get burned or be uncomfortably hot?

There are gloves designed to use these, but they all seem to have bad reviews

The more air that gets at them the hotter they get as the faster they burn out. I have used them with good results. I have a pair of rocky mit-glove combo that have a little pouch that these fit in. I tired it once and it worked great. And were warm for 6-7 hours.

They work. If they get too hot for you, it won't be happening too fast for you to take them out.

love them, I recently picked up some ez heat instant-reusable handwarmers , I haven't yet used them in the field but I do like the Idea of reusable.

I used em this year for deer season as I have bad circulation in my fingers. Put them right inside my gloves on my palms or on top my hands. Next year will have a pair of real flip top mitts.

Put em between two socks for my toes too. Worked great on walk in to stand. But having to dog after was horrid my feet literally felt like I was walking on hot coals.
