How about a little NEA love for a change?

Really like the bottom one with their new stock. Apparently they are demoing them at a show in Germany right now.

To my knowledge it will be a while before those actually make it in to distribution. Not to speak out of turn but depending on your tolerance for staring at calendars in frustration, if you're interested in an NEA rifle you may want to contact SFRC in the next little while.
I would guess... 3rd quarter of 2014 at best.
They will need to really ramp up production to be able to push out their black models plus all the 3 new colours.
I really want to get my hands on the new quadrail.. I was just talking to my buddy on friday and we were saying nea should relocate the pinch points to under the rail and put more QD points or a small rail towards the back so you can mount your slings on it....sure enough, they did it.

After almost 5 months of waiting. Got her about 2 weeks ago. I just need a babysitter to watch over my little one so I can go to the range and try her out.

Busy .... Busy .... Busy .... no time even to enjoy the new toy AHHHHHHH!

The "Crusader Brake" is very tempting.

Started my AR with a NEA complete Lower.
Got it from a store that starts with a (T).
So my Story starts 1 week before end of the month I order NEA lower in stock, pick up once ATT gets issued ok.
After 2 weeks call store re; ATT, sorry no ATT for you!
Hmm?? wait another week and call again, Store gives same response??
Now it's 4 weeks after the Purchase and I call again. Get same response with Could take up to 6 weeks for the ATT we will call you when it's issued.
Pissed??? so now I call CFO. I politely ask re; my store ATT. Yes sir it has been issued on the 1st of the month 7 buss days after the purchase and it was emailed to the store on that date.
Asked if I could have it emailed to me. yes sir on the way. Print it out and jump in the car.
No I did not go postal when I arrived, just showed my ATT and receipt. Asked when was it issued? Clerk;Today... really! Packed up and left.
As to the NEA Lower??

Wow, it's hard to imagine, but if that is factory packaging then Norinco packages their products better than NEA. Single corrugated, super thin cardboard with cheap foam inserts. Did it come with an owners manual printed with an ink jet printer?

The hate is non ####ing stop with some people.

No kidding. I guess it is a good sign though if the NEA #####ing is now about the packaging! I suppose if NEA starts making custom foam inserts for shipping, next we will hear about the packaging tape being too thin!

It's a rifle, not a china doll. I'd be pissed if my boutique AR came shipped like that but then again, no one ever accused an NEA-15 of being a boutique rifle :)

OK lets get this thread back on track. We have plenty of NEA threads that have gone sideways so lets keep this one relatively clear of the drama and stick to the pics and vids.
Here is me playing with my NEA-15 a couple of weeks ago at a multigun practice at my range:

It's an observation of what? Did the OP say that was all the packaging? Or did you just jump to conclusions to slag NEA (Again!)

I was replying to a post within this thread that included a picture of a NEA rifle, in a box with the words unboxing describing the picture. I would say that is reasonable to believe that was the original packaging. I slag on NEA when they deserve it and I don't really care if other people agree with me or not. This is a forum and I will post my opinions as I see fit.

I just find it curious that the made in china, $300~ cheaper rifle is packaged in a much more careful and considerate manner than the pride of North Eastern Arms. I am not making any comments in regards to the rifle itself and having met Jeff in person I almost bought an NEA rifle. It's things like this, the lack in overall pride in their product that turns me away.

Actually, I don't know what they say about that stuff. My parents taught me some things are wrong in life. I guess your upbringing was different than mine.

Clearly not the difference between opinions, hate, appropriate comments and sarcasm. You took it there first, I finished it.

Legit observation good packaging ensures product arrives in the consumer hand in top shape. How many complaints of poor packaging resulting in damage complaints have we heard about; lots. Big hassle and disappointments with returns.

Owner's manual printed with ink jet is a cheap shot  So did it?

Just gone mine the other day. Found it odd that the barrel is more of a greenish black rather than a stainless look that most of the other ones seem to be.
