How about Canadian made AR uppers?

So would there be a market for AR barreled uppers or just the uppers alone in Canada?

I would say both. If someone would step up with the manufacturing capability there is a market for both. Armseast and Alberta Tactical should be a decent source of barrels soon, all we would need is a source of just the uppers. Doesn't Dlask make uppers already?

Dlask does Uppers and Barrels, Armseast is going to (I'm assuming) use Stag uppers (if you've got top quality why not use it) with 'in country' barrels. ATR is looking at barrels. Generally speaking, things are definitely looking up for us.

+1 to what Walter said, we've looked at it as a possible option once the DoS turns off the tap, but in the meantime it's hard to beat what Colt/Stag, etc can meet for a price point.

We're turning barrels presently. No plans to machine upper receivers, neither necessary nor viable, IMO.

Well, the Norc M4 has a hammer forged barrel (per ArmsEast) but I assume you're looking for a better hammer forged barrel.
