How accurate is the new RCBS Chargemaster Supreme

Most if not all are made in China and only have a 1 year warranty. Or the parts inside are made in China. You pay your money and take your chances. Kinda like gambling.

So we are verifying the RCBS with a better scale/balance that can be had cheaper? Interesting.

No that was not the intention at all, My Frankford dispenser quit working so I replaced it with the RCBS CMS till I got my V4, also the v4 dispenses way faster then the CMS, however I was curious to know how accurate the new Chargemaster was! so I ran the test.
So know you know how good it really is...

Educational to hear the issues users have with such expensive gear. I will continue saving for a new barrel rather than a charge master of some description.

My Chargemaster has died. The scales work but it won't dispense.

It is about 15 years old. Will they replace it for me?
Mine did that about 5 years ago.
The 2 halves unplug and come apart.
I disconnected the 2 halves on mine and blew them out with compressed air and put them back together.
That solved my problem.

I checked my 10 year old chargemaster vs my A&D FX120-oi with AutoTrickelr V4

I dropped 23 charges of 40.6 gr of H4350 with the Chargemaster.
I weighed them with the A&D FX120-i

The heaviest was 40.74
The lightest was 40.44

E.S. 0.3 gr.
S.D 0.07000309208

I use my old Chargemaster to dispense 0.3g less than the desired charge. I put that on my FX-120i scale and trickle up to the charge weight I want.
Ya it's a bit slower than the auto-trickler setup but it's also quite a bit cheaper. Works well for the reloading I do.

THe new chargemasters are just a cosmetic upgrade and have bluetooth added, essentially. I thought the method of dumping the hopper on the Matchmaster was assenine, as it is supposed to be a precison scale, that turned me completely off of it. My old chargemaster 1500 works well, I have a V4 as well now, which I haven't set up yet, get to that as soon as I need to actually load something up.
