Plus or minus 0.1 grain accuracy is very good. I haven't found a situation in which 0.1 grain made a difference, though I have found a difference from 0.20 grains in my 6BR. The difference is subtle and it is a change in the shape of the group rather than a consistent change in accuracy, but there is a good chance it is there (two five shot groups of each; need more testing). I think the smaller the case, the more you have to be concerned about minor variations, of course. I doubt you would see anything with 0.2 grains variation in an 06 case or a magnum. I haven't found a scale that will do +/- 0.10 grains consistently across all powders, but that really is asking alot. It is easy enough to achieve with ball but, like Obtunded observed, all bets are off with stick (even small stick, though that is better). PACT is the brand of electronic scale I bought way back when and it is still going strong. Should be careful and say I have stuck with RCBS and Lee over the years as far as powder dispensers go. So, there is the outside chance that another brand will be better. fred
