How are C7's "Canadianized"?

We've forgotten the most important difference of all.

A C7 is in the hands of a Canadian soldier. At least when I was in, this meant that the overall level of proficiency was rather higher than that displayed by a soldier of equivalent rank carrying an M16. I learned this first-hand while on exercise with the armies of other nations.

Oh brother....:stirthepot2:

Lets not let this thread degenerate into my army is better than yours eh?

We all Know mine was and still is!

And here I thought the only difference was that all the plastic parts were made of hemp like materials and could be boiled to eat much like our old OD combat buttons. :D

Damn my Platoon WO has told me yet another lie.

7 pages and no one has gotten it right. The rifles are presented to Reaper...if the the technician presenting it walks away without a kick to the balls it is now a C7...kick to the balls= back to the factory. W/Os can be funny that way.

If that is the case there would alot of guys with their nuts in a sling at Diemaco for actually creating the C7A2 piece of crap..it would be SFWs for all :)

I used an original 1960's AR15 in the late 80's yes it had seen some wear and it looked it but it still functioned as per the book. The ammo was pap as we were stuck with the old American round that meant that the ply ETR targets wouldnt register hits, we ended up getting aluminium plate targets, and we didnt get the new ammo until the L85A1 appeared. The old ammo was kept as it was better suited to the HK53 that we had two of at the time!

BigRed had an Harrington and Richards M16A1 here -- eventually it was re-roled to a semi-auto recce rifle as the auto sear hole got oblong and no longer functioned properly in auto.

The lower has a typical 200k life span baring major abuse/damage.

The wonders of a plug and play system.

The C7 is better made and has single shot and full auto, and the M16A2 has single shot and burst (3 shots) only. Like to own a C7 than the Colt M16A2
