Any long term owners of Huglu side by sides care to share their experience with their shotguns? How's the durability of the case hardened finish? Any problems with the hard chrome finish?

I have a 410 and a 20. Not long term but ive put a flat thru each. The case color isnt as durable as real color case harding. They are well built guns. The bluing is nice but gets cloudy when wet but once wiped with an oiled rag is shines again. They shoot to point of aim and handle well. Metal to wood fit is very good. For the money i believe they are one of the best deals on the market. Prophet river deals them and offers the best service in the business.

I have one in 12ga and so far it is an excellent shotgun, I have has zero problems other than at first the shot gun action was a little tight, but loosens up as you use it. Great looking shotgun. I find the balance good and pointing is quick and comfortable. CZ side by sides are made by Hugul

My english gripped 20ga huglu is nearly twice the diameter at the wrist then my lil spanish 12ga with striaght stock yet the huglu still feels ok. Sturdy enough i dont fear of snapping it in the duck boat.

They appear to be well made and well finished but are heavy and a little clubby for gauge. When your trigger pulls are heavier than the weight of your gun you know you are in trouble.

The triggers are on the heavy side, and they aren't light, but they work well. I use mine on the rainy days, when I don't want my Grullas drenched.

Ashcroft pretty much summed it up....I have a 20ga CZ Ringneck, Trigger pulls on mine are fine....it has killed many many birds....it came with a beautiful figured Turkish walnut stock, now if you can get over the heavy stain poly finish they put on, some have very very nice wood underneath that goop.....they are great Guns for the money, they come with chokes, CCH and some engraving.....anyone that wants break into the mystical world of SxS's, this is the gun I recommend they start with.....where they really shine is in 28ga, all their guns are built on scaled frames....I have handled/ hunted with one of the 28ga, very light and handle like a dream and all for what? just under a grand used.....it is my do all rainy day Gun and also my steel shot shooter for Doves

Im not so sure about the slow re sale on the CZ=Huglu SxS's.....whenever a sub gauge comes up for sale, it goes quick...a real nice one was listed last night on another Gun sale site, it was a nice Huglu 20ga SxS, English stock with nice figured walnut, double triggers, chokes and a nice hard case....I think it lasted an hour or so, there plenty of other SxS's listed there......someone got a nice one at a great price....anyone here get it?
