Hey folks,

Just curious how people are carrying their mares legs in the bush. I tried strapped on the backpack (as pictured) in multiple configurations, tried the holster (which was insanely uncomfortable and not practical for hiking etc), and eventually started slinging it from the saddle-ring across my chest. My new mares leg doesn't have a saddle-ring so I'll likely install some QD studs and try my vickers sling on it.

How do you carry yours?

I used a single point sling off the saddle ring then just slung it over my left shoulder and the firearm would hang to my right my side. Easy to get into action and out of the way. Problem with single point slings is they can give you some bounce but it should be easy enough to remedy with a little velcro strap if needed. I never needed it.

Is that butt stock extension collapsible or is it fixed? I was thinking of making one that retracts into the stock when not needed..... haven't gotten around to it yet though

Hang it by the saddle ring. Hiking, trail cutting, berry picking, on and off the quad. At first I thought it would flop around too much but it doesn't.

I carry mine in the same holster but I changed the bottom tie off to a piece of 2'' wide strap that has some stretch to it and goes all the way around the bottom of the holster. I hike up mountains and down, even tried full sprinting with it never had an issue.
