UPDATE: Gun was purchased from Wanstall, I contacted them they sent me a prepaid postage label.
I dealt with Kevin who was really helpful. Since they had no replacements in stock I was offered to wait for the barrel to be fixed or to get my money back. I chose the latter and after a few days my credit card was credited for the full amount.
I was disappointed because I really liked the overall feel of the revolver but I was really satisfied with the service from Wanstall.

New gun, online purchase. I'll just post the image and you guys can give me your opinion.

Thanks.

Front sight isn't lined up with barrel. Looks bad to me.

On magnified inspection, barrel needs to be turned more to line up.

This is why I won't buy firearms online any more. At best it's a pain to return something that was "mistakenly" sold in poor condition. At worst someone tried to pass on their problem and make it yours to fix. I would hope this was a big box and not a LGS.

I've got a pair of smith and Wesson's that are like that. One was bought brand new in a gun store and I didn't notice until months later, the other I bought used, same story, didn't even notice until way later. They both shoot fine, but now that I noticed it, it kinda bugs me when I take them out. I would have probably exchanged the new one if I'd noticed sooner.

I had to click on the picture then enlarge it. But once I did that the angle of the barrel not being fully tightened really jumped out at me. That's totally unacceptable and should never have left that assembly station, let alone made it past the so called inspectors that are supposed to catch stuff like that.
