Man, the CX4 is looking better and better to me all the time. I'm starting to think that a Non-restricted CX4 in .40S&W would be pretty cool.

However.... I think Beretta totally dropped the ball on the RX4.... because it's HIDEOUSLY UGLY! This is how I think the RX4 SHOULD look! :D

The top one is the original. If they had designed it to look like either of the bottom 2, I would have bought one.
 
Well I've said before, the ergonomics on it does not make any sense. They've borrowed a lot of design elements from their shotguns to this rifle... which is a horrible mistake IMO.
 
im sure someone will come out with aftermarket stocks that look like your photoshops



I just read up on it. Looks like it takes STANAG mags (cough cough 10 round ar pistol mags cough cough). 16.24" barrel though :(

i think the stock your suggesting looks good on ar's, that's about it. hate em on SG's and 858's and almost everything else. just my opinion though.

looks like a fun rifle as is and i'd save my modding for other firearms.

the rx4 is so much more appealing than the cx4.

still looks a bit spacey but not as ghey as that other one.

the cx4 is sooo ghey, it comes with a boyfriend.:D

Really? As is, I like the CX4 better than the RX4.... The RX4 looks too stretched out. Having the trigger guard incorporated into the mag well would have improved the looks SOO much.
 
Two major things wrong with this otherwise nifty rifle as I see it:
1: 20" canada non-restricted barrel is going to look terrible
2: I want my charging handle on the left! the left!!!!!

Actually, I was looking a pictures of the RX4 the other day with long bbls and it actually didn't look that bad! I thought it was alright anyway.

Yeah, Charging handle on the left would be cool. I think the thing is fully ambidextrous though... what are the chances that the charging handle could be moved? Kindof a moot point though, I'm not gonna buy one.

They already have for the CX-4, check the Berreta Forum
 
well matt i have looked around and i have seen the stocks that you "photo shoped" and they already exist, please dont bash a rifle based on its looks it makes you sound as dumb as the "experts" at the cfc, and this rifle has already been classed as non restricted acording to the nice people at my local gun shop. btw why would you want a m4 stock on it the RX4 is unque.
to put a m4 stock on it would make is a another scary black evil gun, and thus anthoer gun we cant own,
now we have a cool looking gun that we can take gopher popping,
but you cant make a gun for everyone, thankgod but i will own one of these,
now if the ps90 was also non i would buy it first my wife likes it alot,
anyway thats my 2 cents, keep an eye out for a review and let us know

ummm ok bud I never photoshopped anything nor did I say the rifle was ugly. :confused:

Also the standard version has a 16.24" barrel making it restricted but as someone else pointed out in the thread apparently there is a 20" canadian version.


anyways maybe read the whole thread and understand it first before calling people dumb next time k?
