I reject your reply pending pics of your new toy!:D:D

;)

lol :D

Mike I hope you don't have holes in your pockets. your the only guy I know who's bulk pak of rim fire is a five gallon bucket  But I guess the upside to that is you always have a seat where ever you shoot :D

LOL!

The stockpile is growing, it's at 2000 rounds now. I hope american eagle is as good a round as its centerfire. There's some gold medal, champion, wildcat, stinger, velocitor, golden bullet, and rem target in the mix too, just to see what the gun likes. I see a lot of dynapoint in your stockpiles, is it particularly accurate and reliable?

Here's a file photo, mine's a lefty:

I wonder how long 'til I have to tinker with it. That plastic trigger guard has got to go! The stock could use a new finish too, maybe a float/bed job. Here I go again with another damn project......

Well I am somewhere between 5 and 6 cases.. somewhere under 30 000 rounds of 22 that does not include the 17 hmr and the 3000 or so hm2 that I have.
prices are going up fast. blazer , american eagle, sss, and others in the pile.

What's a "last box of ammo"? ;):);)
For those of who have seen it........ It's a scary sight and you may never recover from the fear of seeing that "last box" again.

It may end up costing you a small fortune in the end! Seek councelling if you have come across this infamous "last box" as you may need to be talked down from opening your own bullet reloading factory so you can hit the range at 2am without fear of hearing a "click" sound from your gun.

Those who have heard the "click" know what narcotic withdrawl feels like first hand! It's tough to pack up and go home before you are sick of shooting!

Never run out!!

NEVER!:eek::runaway::eek::runaway::slap:

I once read an article by the late Jack O'Conner where he stated that the ammo companies made 60% or more of their income from the .22 rimfire and about 25% from shotgun shells. The other 15% was from center fire cartridges. This article was in a Outdoor Life magazine from the 50's but just looking at the posts on this subject and the poll I think the lowly .22 still rules on the sales sheets...

I went to the range yesterday with 800 rounds of .22 LR and 75 rounds of .17HMR and only came home when I ran out. Good thing, too. :D
That 17HMR gets pricy for plinking. I recently acquired a nice one and have yet to put 3 boxes through it because of the price. Well that and the fact that it's a bolt job and not a semi. It it were a semi i'd be out of a home i bet! lol:runaway:

Only 5 - 50 round boxes of American Eagle :(

I spent last months extra $$ on a few hundred rounds of shotgun ammo :dancingbanana:

I love the American Eagle stuff, its cheap and produces all the accuracy I'll ever need for plinking or hunting.
