How can I get a prohibited license?

I am going to go out on a limb, and guess that you have not yet read the Newbie FAQ Section. The link is in my sigline below.
It took me many hours to write it, I hope you can find several minutes to read it.

Suggest you do your course first, save up money, make friends with someone who CAN own it , buy one for HIM/HER and get them to let you shoot it once in a while.
That might work and i'm sure he'll/ she'll love you for the new present.

Not true, your business must already have a prohib lic holder and all guns obtained by the business are registered into his name, and then transfered to the prohib customer. If you do not have a employee with a 12(6) you then are SOL.

I think that you are right, I recently bought a 12(6) revolver from Wholesale in Saskatoon and all the prohibs are registered in the owner's name. I know him from the gun show circuit years before and he told me that they had to be registered in his name to have them in the store.

I doubt if you are even 18.
Did you get your .50 cal yet?

Everything you ask is easily found.
You want a $3000 pistol, a $1500 sniper rifle and now a prohib. ???
You also want to know where to order online so you don't have to be there in person???
Thats Redflag to me!
You haven't even looked at getting a PAL.
You got at least a 3-4 month wait before you see one...if you are lucky.(If you are even of age)

This isn't a honda civic forum.

Excellent document, required reading. If you do nothing else, alex_m, read that before you even think of making another post.

+1000000. Reading your column saved me from having my face smell like as$ multiple times. I bet, if I had not read it, alex would look like a 40 year gunsmith right now compared to the questions I was gonna ask.

If you don't have access to a "prohibited" license, you can ask Barry Jensen at Bits of Pieces about extending a PPK barrel. He does this fairly routinely. My personal opinion is if you're going to do that, do it on a PP because it will look a little better.
