I got my Non-Restricted/Restricted PAL, and now I have a gun club membership. Do I have to send in any forms saying what gun club I'm part of or anything? Or can I just go into the store and buy a handgun. Then the transfer can go through and I'll get my temporary ATT? Then I have to send in for a long term ATT?

Unless any thing has changed recently, you just have to let the vendor know what club you belong to when you buy your gun to get the transfer to go through. No forms required. Call the Alberta CFO and request a long term ATT.... they faxed me mine in a few minutes when I asked for it.
You phoned for and got a LTATT in minutes? I thought you had to send in a form for your LTATT.

Alberta CFO is great, takes care of damn near everything. You can resolve most anything with a few minutes and a phone call. You are now required to show proof of membership to a club however. Can't get ATT's for all of western Canada anymore either.
You must fill out a form and submit it via fax to the CFO in order to get your LTATT, at least that is what I had to do. It took 3 weeks.

Same here, though it was far from my first restricted..
When I bought my first resticted the nice lady called said my transfer my temp att and my ltatt was all ready filled out and all she needed was my club membership and she faxed my temp att to me the next day and my ltatt came by mail in two days.
