Canada Post won’t do it and Purolator told me that it’s prohibited and they won’t ship it. Can someone point me in the right direction here? Someone must ship it.

no you don't need one to ship Canada to Canada.. but like the others said, UPS, CANPAR are you're only two options. Canada Post wont and they own purolater so that's out, Canada Post classes ammo and powder and primers as hazmat , i mean hell they class a bare rifle as hazmat so not really surprising there.lol

UPS is easiest if going to random small towns, since Canpar isn't in as many places

I have shipped ammo via UPS within the past few months within Canada. The big downside is the exorbitant cost (which I am surprised the buyers were willing to pay - I know I wouldn't have paid such crazy costs), but with few ship options, there's not many alternatives.

UPS and Canpar are your only options.

Shipping ammo is a HUGE pain in the ass. If you are selling ammo privately it’s best to do it locally otherwise it’s not worth the grief.

^^ Very true, both posts above. Best to sell ammo locally and buy at the other end, unless it's "Something special" like Custom Hand-loads or collectibles. Prices on ammo are falling, too, so it makes shipping Less Attractive.

UPS only and it cannot be to a city or town that uses a third party, as I have found out my city of 70,000 cannot get ammo, powder or primers as UPS uses a third party contractor in my area so a pallet on a shipping container is the only option lol

Yes, I checked with Canpar and they don’t ship ammo anymore. Both Purolator and Canpar told me that shipping ammo is prohibited. I guess I’ll check with UPS.

Do all of this . . .or . . . not??

THEN Later ". . . Except in the case where the article is
prohibited for shipping (as noted), the articles
listed in this Section 3.4 require Pre-approval to
be shipped with UPS. Pre-approval is defined as
UPS’s written consent, as evidenced by an
agreement setting out the Pre-approval article(s)
to be transported, which is signed by authorized
representatives of UPS and the Shipper. . . . "

BTW - I've received 2x CASES of 7.62 x 39 via UPS, from online sponsors. I 'magine they have a "Special Arrangement" ?
