How come I dont see

Bingo!
I can barely afford the 12 guns I have right now, and none of them are worth more than $500, let alone $5000. :(

Some day Strangeday...I'll finish school and get my own business, so I can have money like you. Til then though... :(

Most of us can't afford 'em, or would rather have 4,5,6 other milsurps and a safe to put 'em in for what one is worth. Someday though!

Maybie I could get a way to buy one, but feed it? Not even for 5 minutes let alone a lifetime...

But I would gently donate to have 5 minutes alone with this gun, 2-3 belts and a 1000yrd range:D

They're here.... just do a search .. I know that claven2 bought an MG34 (semi mode) that he belt loads and shoots. :D

The MKL entry also includes several on-line videos of the MG42 assembly & disassembly, as well combat action, plus there's a contemporary one that shows a U.S. owner (lucky guy) letting loose with an entire 250 round belt in one long burst. Not good for the barrel, but certainly fun to do, at least once.

Badger

Considering the unmebr of 1919s out there (not many) I think they have been fairly represented on CGN. Check out the "shilo D-day match" thread for a few photos of 1919s in use, along with this little snippet, courtesy of MTallman:

Part of the fun of owning a 1919 is getting all the accessories to go with it. For mounts I have the tripod, the bipod, the ring mount, and the mount on the side of a Jeep.
