How come no 858 gurus holding clinics like Hungry and Thomas?

Just wondering?The M305 community has a few champions showing the way.How come the CZ 858 doesn't.I know we have quite a few people who have used this rifle platform for awhile but it seems only the M305 has that covered.
 
Probably because the CZ 858 does'nt have the initial out of the box problems that the Chinese built M14 has. The CZ 858 is pretty much good to go, I think.
 
The only thing the VZ user really needs to know is how to properly clean the rifle.

Any other info to be passed on would center around the accessories available to bolt on and who to send your bolt carrier to if you have the gremlin.
 
I was thinking that as well plus all the info that people have contributed to this site and others (youtube) help tremendously.Just wanted to get other peoples thoughts on this. Thanks guys.Stevo, want to be the Hungry of the VZ side?
 
Many times when I'm at the range with other VZ shooters it can look like a VZ clinic. I also get tons of pm's regarding VZs and I answer them all.

Info is getting passed around, just not in a formal setting.

If there was "accurizing" or other M14-ish stuff you could do to the VZ, the clinic would be a great idea.
 
I'd tend to agree with blue, mine is my first semi rifle...read through the threads here and went to town on mine. Never had a malfunction of any sort, shoots more or less where I point it...nothing at all complicated about tearing it apart, at least up to the trigger group which I have left alone - it's actually not half bad at all.

Spend a couple of hours in front of the TV running the mags in and out of it, and soon they will insert much more smoothly. Optionally, add sandpaper to smooth out the obvious wear marks on the mags, and a bit of oil.

I know mine's not as pimped as some - handguards, grip, some paint on the buttstock - but I'm happy with it.

Simple
There is no such thing as making the x39 round accurate. Just a lot of fun to shoot. Now I think instead of clinic's there should be shoot out's.
E.G. CQB with poper's or a long distance gong shoot.
 
Actually thats not such a bad idea.Once I'm settled from the moving crap (still ongoing) and buy my membership at the club in Fort Mac (not prorated, waiting for Jan) maybe I'll try my hand at organizing one for us semi northerners. Preferable when the weather is nicer and no one has to drive the death road when its snowing and blowing.
 
All the rifle needs is love, ammo and the occasional lubrication.

As far as the loving is concerned, the judge was very specific about what I do in public places, with whom and while wearing what.

Other then an AR stock, that how im running mine.
