😁, well, you were close. The long version goes like this. I took the bag of brass and an 50 rnd loading tray out to the shop to prep them for my intended purpose (.410). These being my first .444’s I prepped two (prepping consisting of drilling them out to accept 209 primers and then reducing the head thickness to .054). I did two cases and before going on, I took those two cases to the house to prime them and make sure the action closes on them, put them in my pocket then headed back to the shop to prep the rest. Did the 50, took them in the house then did the other 50 and the tray had two empty spots. Looked everywhere I had been with the first two to make sure I didn’t miss place them but no luck so finally concluded that I must be short. Fast forward to the other day, wife and I go for a walk and I put my hand in my jacket pocket and, lo and behold,……..two pieces of converted .444’s. Then I remembered I had put them there.
