There's not that many factory packaged, unissued 1960's M14 parts left. When I get such an item, It's always cool to be the first to open it in over 50 years.
I snagged a GI combo tool today in sealed condition
Not a TRW bolt or oprod, but still pretty cool. This one was made in April 1967 and came in a sealed cardboard tube with crimped-in steel caps.
Opening it carefully to not destroy the paper tube body. Note the dessicant paper.
And like all originals, it's marked "Combination Tool" and the drawing number. The chinese copies are not so marked.
